Celina Jaitly loses one twin to rare heart disorder

The world of glamour is no less like ours. For every cloud, there’s a rainbow and for every dark hour, there are stars. Actress Celina Jaitly and her spouse Peter Haag, who are a happy family of four, were gladly awaiting another set of twin babies in September'17. The couple is already proud parents to five-year-olds, Winston and Viraaj, and the news of the arrival of twin babies had them thrilled. The happy couple revealed that initially they were surprised on receiving the news and took some time to process it. But, what followed was uncontrollable joy and excitement. Heartbreakingly, the actress recently announced that post the delivery of her twins, she lost one of her babies. She wrote that she would like to take the fortunate occasion of Dusshera as an opportunity to share the bittersweet news of the birth of her twin babies. In the post, she further remarked that the gods have blessed her yet again with gorgeous twin sons Arthur Jaitly Haag & Shamsher Jaitly Haag on 10th September 2017 in Dubai. However, life doesn’t always go as per the plan. Celina’s son ‘Shamsher Jaitly Haag’ was affected with a severe heart condition and passed away due to it. As sad as we are on hearing this news, our hearts and condolences are with the couple and we wish immense love and blessings to the family. The silver lining to the cloud is that Celina, who also lost her father two months ago, has managed to find her strength and stay positive throughout. In one of her posts, she remarked that even though this news is heartbreaking, she and her husband are blessed that a part of Shamsher still lives with them through Arthur and his face will always remind them that an angel who resembles him looks after them from the arms of his late grandfather. In order to ensure that a newborn has a healthy heart, proper care must be taken during pregnancy. Doctors suggest that expecting moms should remember that they’re no longer eating for just one and both the mother and the child require a nutritious diet. Foods that are high in fat, contain caffeine or other harmful ingredients should be avoided or restricted during the nine months of pregnancy. Prenatal factors like a nutrition-dense diet, quality sleep, stress-free environment and emotional well-being ensure that the newborn will have a healthy heart condition and good overall health. Doctors also perform fetal heart rate monitoring to know baby’s heart condition & overall health during each trimester. Expecting moms must follow these precautionary steps, in consultation with a professional, to ensure their newborn’s wellbeing. With this, we wish immense strength and blessings to the couple and love to Baby Arthur. Keep going Celina, our prayers are with you.
