You should begin by giving almond powder to your baby. Starting with one teaspoon, you can gradually increase it if the baby is able to digest it easily. One almond should be given per day for a nine-month-old baby.
It is advisable to soak the almonds overnight. In the morning you should peel off the skin before making its powder or paste. The skin of the almond is hard to digest and may even be toxic for the babies.
Almond milk is the milk derived from the almonds. You can obtain it by grinding almonds with water, sugar and other add ons. You should give almond milk to your baby after he has turned one year old.
It can be introduced to your baby after he turns nine months. You can begin with one teaspoon and observe how your little one responds to it.
